Jennifer - Appointment Coordinator

I have worked in the dental field for many years. In the beginning, I was a chairside assistant in both a general dentistry office and an endodontic office prior to transitioning to the business team. It is part of my responsibility to know each patient by name and recognize them when they arrive for their appointment. This helps them to feel comfortable in the office and ensure a positive dental experience while they are here. My primary focus as the appointment coordinator is to assist patients when scheduling and to help them maintain recommended preventative care intervals. I am the one who ‘keeps the lists’, sends reminder postcards, text messages and emails and call on the phone to help patients maintain their oral health.

Karen - Financial Coordinator

I have been with Dr. Clark and Dr. Romzick for over 25 year working first as the appointment coordinator and more recently as the financial and insurance coordinator. During my time here, I have gained valuable experience that I do not think I would have gotten anywhere else. I feel fortunate to work for Doctors who believe in continuing education allowing me to attend dozens of seminars to enhance my skills. I particularly enjoy knowing the fine details of our Dentrix dental software; sometimes my questions stump the Dentrix support team with subtle knowledge they have not yet learned! As part of our business team, it is my responsibility to work closely with the Doctors to understand each patient’s plan for treatment. This allows me to help patients feel comfortable with their care by providing options for payment and timing for treatment. I particularly enjoy challenging our insurance companies to maximize our patient’s benefits on their journey to achieve outstanding oral health.

Lori - Registered Dental Assistant

I earned my associate degree as a Registered Dental Assistant from Washtenaw Community College shortly after being certified as a dental assistant. In the office my main responsibilities are to assist Dr. Clark, keep track of supplies and place orders weekly. I also help in the business office when needed. Outside of the work environment, I enjoy just being at home. My favorite music is classic rock from the 70’s and 80’s and my dream vacation would be to visit Hawaii. Maybe someday!

Michele - Registered Dental Hygienist

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan and began working for Dr. Clark and Dr. Romzick in 2001. My main responsibilities are to care for, educate and empower our patients to achieve their best oral health. I love what I do and hope to continue for many more years. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids, Alex and Emma, my husband Steve and our dog Baxter. I also enjoy reading and relaxing by our pool. You will find Classic Rock and old-school hip-hop on my music playlists. Someday, I would like to take a dream vacation to Bora Bora or Tahiti and stay in an over-the-water-bungalow!

Mahita - Dental Assistant

My name is Mahita and I started working here in early 2021 as a chairside assistant primarily for Dr. Romzick. I have a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from India and my long-term goal is to become a licensed dentist in the US. That goal will first require additional study and training in a US dental school. Working as a dental assistant has helped me understand and become accustomed to the people and cultures found in this community. I feel fortunate to work under the guidance of such great doctors and team members whose main goal is to provide excellent care to all the patients. The exposure to new techniques and procedures that I see in this office makes it exciting to come to work every day.

We are a family of three with my husband and our adorable daughter. I miss our family back home very dearly and hope to see more of our parents in the future. I love to shop, listen to music, spend quality time with friends, relax at home and cook a variety of dishes. I absolutely adore dogs and want to adopt one in the near future.

Nichole - Registered Dental Hygienist

I graduated from Mott Community College with an Associates in Applied Science in Dental Assisting and then earned my Associates in Dental Hygiene. As a dental hygienist I work closely with Dr. Clark and Dr. Romzick to help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health. I am trained to understand your medical history, screen for oral cancer and identify disease in your teeth and gum tissues. My ability to treat gingivitis and periodontal disease as well as give patients strategies to control these problems is gratifying; I Love what I Do!

My family keeps me busy when I am not at work. We live on a lake and enjoy boating, jet skiing, and kayaking. I also love gardening. My daughters, Sophia and Scarlett, are members of the Stingray All-Stars competitive cheerleading team and my husband and I travel with them to competitions throughout the year. Health and fitness are important to me so workouts at the gym, especially at Orange Theory Fitness, are part of my routine. My favorite color is pink, my favorite books are the Outlander series, my favorite movie is The Notebook and I love country music! Oh, and Go Tigers!
